MIRIAM van KEMPEN
Finders Keepers – Caring and sharing – The value of time – Emotional journey
After working as a primary school teacher for ten years, Miriam decided to make a change and look for another industry that would allow her to be the ambitious person that she wanted to be, combining love and care for the clients with developing her skills on destination services, immigration and moving but also marketing, sales and business development.
After working for two big global firms and one smaller immigration office where she was responsible for setting up the relocation department, se has now found the company that is very close to her heart: Heart Relocation. Together with her colleagues, she focuses on the person behind the relocation. The fathers, wives, partners, sons and daughters. Heart Relo cares about the wellness of their clients, both the assignees and the people they work with and team up with.
Outside of work she is a keen yoga enthusiast, reader and socializer, a parent of a wonderful eight year old son, and a fanatic Linkedin user, where she and her colleagues have recently launched Finders Keepers, a non-profit initiative to connect people who have lost their jobs in HR and GM due to Covid and are looking for new work to inhouse corporate people offering jobs. The group has started with a bang, adding 600 people to the group in 5 days.
