5 things Relocation Directors should be doing right now.

1.       Stay informed about the commission compensation settlement changes coming and push the dialog with your RMC and corporate clients about policy changes that need to be made. The key is to educate them on the potential land mines ahead. This is your chance to be the voice of reason and a trusted advisor.

2.       Engage in meaningful conversations with your colleagues and industry experts to gain diverse perspectives on how companies are strategizing to move forward. This collaborative approach can lead to innovative solutions and a variety of options.

3.       Maintain a high level of engagement with your relocation agent team and leadership. Your support and guidance are invaluable in these challenging times.

4.       Create or amp up your license-holding referral company to prepare for a potential agent exodus. You can keep them close and benefit from their client base. A thriving license-holding company is not a set-it-and-forget-it operation. Those people and their clients need to be nurtured.

5.       Expand your business development to include local affinity rewards programs and other revenue-generating programs and services. This is not the time to hope that business will improve. You must make your own opportunities in your own markets. Your local expertise is your superpower.

Let me know how I can help with any of the above. Let’s get busy.
