Top CHRO has identified eight key TA trends for this year.

They include:

– Harmonizing AI and recruiters, largely through the use of AI-based tools for efficient and unbiased screening processes and interview scheduling to find and hire the best talent accurately and swiftly.

– Embracing DEI beyond superficial measures and creating inclusive solutions that prioritize diversity and fairness and that attract top candidates.

– Skills-oriented hiring, which broadens the candidate pool and enables individuals with the necessary skills, even without a four-year degree, to access a variety of job opportunities.

– Focus on Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and employer branding, as more candidates prioritize organizational culture and values over salary.

– Resurgence of empathy in leadership, as high-performing individuals seek environments conducive to work-life integration and open communication.

– Data-driven decision making (which most of us are already using to drive strategic decisions and streamline processes in talent acquisition).

– Relocation/workforce dynamics/remote and hybrid work issues (like many of you, I see this as an opportunity and a healthy challenge!)

– Early career hiring expansion, which means that we’re scouting talented candidates earlier in their careers.
