PwC US Leadership Names Terri McClements US Human Capital Leader

NEW YORK, June 4, 2012 —
PwC US recently announced that Terri McClements, a partner in PwC’s US Advisory practice, has assumed the role of US Human Capital Leader, effective June 1. Terri succeeds Dennis Finn, who will continue in his role as PwC’s Global Human Capital Leader and assume additional human capital related responsibilities for PwC’s global network of member firms.

A PwC partner since 1997, McClements has advised top executives at Fortune 1000 companies across multiple industries, including telecommunications, hospitality and private equity. Prior to assuming the role of US Human Capital Leader, she served as the East Region Advisory Leader and the Advisory Diversity Leader. McClements has also served as a member of the firm’s US Board of Partners and Principals. In accordance with the firm’s Partners and Principals Agreement, McClements resigned her seat on the PwC US Board to assume the US Human Capital Leader role.

“Terri has been instrumental in driving the Advisory strategy at PwC and her exceptional attention to clients, quality and sponsorship of our people makes her progression to the role of US Human Capital Leader a natural one,” said Bob Moritz, chairman and senior partner of PwC US. “I also want to thank Dennis for the tremendous contributions he’s made over the past three years as he led the Human Capital Team in the US, and wish him much success as he continues to drive our people strategy across PwC’s global network.”

In addition to working with some of the firm’s top clients, McClements completed a year-long assignment within the office of the chairman of PwC US, where she worked directly with PwC US leadership to help define the firm’s strategic direction.

During her time in the chairman’s office, McClements co-led a program, the “Future of PwC,” which analyzed strategic issues and global business trends impacting the firm and its clients over a 5 to 10 year time period. McClements recently received the 2011 Company and Executive Women Worth Watching award from Profiles in Diversity Journal. In 2011, she was recognized as one of the top 45 Business Leaders by the Adecco Group “Business Women’s Leadership Tribute” for her contributions to PwC and its people.

McClements is a CPA, licensed to practice in the States of Virginia, Maryland and in the District of Columbia, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She received her B.S. in accounting from California University of Pennsylvania. McClements is an active member of the community where she lives and works, and is a prominent supporter of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, the American Diabetes Association, and the Food Allergy Network. She and her husband Mike reside in Virginia with their two children.
