The city is famous not only for its clean Pacific seashores and Malecon, but it is a pretty well preserved Historical City Center and cultural life. Plaza Machado is one of the main squares in the heart of old town Mazatlan.
Visitors also can enjoy here offers of artistic boutiques, trendy restaurants and “people watching”.
Nearby is located the famous Angela Peralta Theater- a magnificent neo-classical gem, a 19th-century performance space, home and stage of the local Opera and Classica Ballet artists.
