Beverly L.W. Sunn is a niche real-estate-and-relocation business owner, based in Hong Kong. Her primary company, Asia Pacific Properties, specializes in representing high net-worth investors in buying and selling luxury commercial and residential real estate, in Asia and abroad.
Beverly’s sister firm, APP Mobility, helps myriad multinational companies, their employees and families move in – and out – of the region. In the process, she and her team, playing to her strengths as Asia’s pioneer of relocation services, help arrivals develop a deep cultural sensitivity to diverse cultures, communities and people.
Beverly, a native of Hawaii, is also a civic leader, having been the first female president of Hong Kong’s influential American Club and the force behind Hong Kong’s annual Women of Influence Conference and Awards, sponsored by the American Chamber of Commerce.
Previously, Beverly served on the Ladies Committee of the Hong Kong Philharmonic, organizing major fund-raising events. In 2015, she founded The
Friends Committee of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the first musical ensemble in China to be invited to record with Deutsche Grammophon, the
world’s most prestigious recorder of classical music.
Since the 1990s, Beverly has been invited to serve on numerous industry boards, including that of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, which
represents the market’s luxury commercial and residential real estate firms; Worldwide ERC, the established trade group of the relocation-services industry
and the Thomas Reuters Founders Share Company, the guardian organization of Thomson Reuters’ unique Trust Principles, designed to preserve the media
giant’s independence, integrity and freedom from bias in the gathering and dissemination of information and news.
These days, Beverly is often invited to speak at major international conferences hosted by prominent media, academic and governmental organizations such as
the Financial Times, the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and the South African High Commission.
