Estimadas Colegas;
Please find a recent article by our retained response firm in respects the potential implications of elections in Chile, Honduras, Nicaragua and Venezuela. Chile is interesting due to it’s potential shift to a Leftist oriented government at a time when the world is jockeying for rare minerals needed in smartphones and everyday electronics. In Honduras, the new president campaigned on the promise to recognize China and disavow Taiwan. Will the recently announced $1.2B investment by private U.S. enterprises in Central America influence her decision (and the opposition).
Feliz Navidad!

Addressing SECURITY issues;
recognizing the roots of threats and dealing with threats. From a security perspective our concern is twofold. (1) the obvious question of what happens to migrants that don’t make it into the U.S. and/or are stuck in asylum hold in Mexico. (2) depletion of workers in the home countries. (3) China’s role. (4) Separating normal economics from drug trafficking. (5) Protect small businesses will be a key factor in economic and social stability. (6) other items…
