The fastest way to build trust with your team & others:
Trust them first.
Trust is yet another one of those intangible things we have trouble describing.
Trust is so critical because without it, you don’t have a team.
And while you may have a leader title, you won’t be leading anyone anywhere without it. 😅
It’s the foundation of: ⇢ Respect ⇢ Innovation ⇢ Positive culture ⇢ Peak performance ⇢ Relationship building ⇢ & so much more
Building trust requires: ⏰ Time 😅 Patience 😬 Mutual vulnerability 😫 Embracing discomfort 💜 Showing unconditional kindness 🤲 Accepting others for who they are
But how do you know when you have it?
Use my quick guide to learn all the signs that you have/are part of a trusting team.
When you see these, well, they’re your sign. 😉
Oh, & 1 for the road… trust is not static. It’s dynamic & something you have to maintain.
Once you lose it, it’s even harder to build than the first time you did it.
So just keep your commitment to your team & yourself by not. 👊
